Refund Policy

Refund Policy for UltraWideo Pro purchases.
1. Try Before You Buy
UltraWideo has a fully featured free tier so you can confirm the extension works for your browser, your setup, and the sites you actually use before you buy Pro. Please install the free version first and make sure it does what you need.
2. All Sales Are Final
Subject to section 4 below, all Pro purchases are final. We do not offer discretionary refunds once a purchase has been completed. By going through checkout, you acknowledge that Pro is a digital product delivered immediately and that the free tier gave you a fair opportunity to evaluate it.
3. Subscriptions
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your billing portal (link in your purchase email and from your subscriptions page). Cancellation stops future charges. Your Pro access stays active until the end of the current billing period. Cancelling does not generate a refund for the current or any prior billing period.
4. Statutory Rights (EU / UK Consumers)
If you're a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws apply to you, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a digital purchase within a set period (e.g. 14 days under the EU Consumer Rights Directive).
Because Pro is digital content delivered immediately, this statutory right typically lapses as soon as you start using Pro features, provided you've acknowledged the loss of that right at checkout. Where the right still applies, refunds are processed by our merchant of record, Lemon Squeezy. To start a request, email contact@uw.wtf – we'll coordinate with Lemon Squeezy on your behalf, or you can contact Lemon Squeezy directly.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer right you have under the law of your place of residence.
5. Chargebacks and Disputes
If something has gone wrong with a charge, please email contact@uw.wtf first – we can almost always resolve it faster than your bank can, and section 6 below covers duplicate and mistaken charges.
Opening a chargeback or payment dispute instead has immediate consequences. When a payment is refunded or reversed, whether at your request or through your bank or PayPal:
- Your Pro license is deactivated straight away. This is different from cancelling, which lets you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for – a reversed payment was never completed, so there is no paid period left to run.
- Any license keys issued under that payment stop validating, on every device.
- Referral points the person who referred you earned from that payment are revoked.
- If the reversal leaves you without an active subscription, your referral link is deactivated and your remaining points are revoked. See section 9 of our Terms of Service.
We may also decline to sell to you in the future. If you believe a reversal was applied to your account in error, email contact@uw.wtf and we'll review it.
6. Duplicate or Mistaken Charges
If you've been charged twice for the same plan, charged after cancelling, or otherwise billed incorrectly, contact us at contact@uw.wtf and we'll get it resolved.
7. Technical Issues
If Pro isn't working for you, please contact contact@uw.wtf before requesting a refund. Most issues are platform- or site-specific and can be fixed quickly. We can't always fix every site (streaming services change without warning), but we'll always try.
8. Contact
