Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-05-02

Terms of Service for the UltraWideo browser extension and dashboard.

1. Who We Are

UltraWideo is operated by Nenad Novaković, a sole individual based in Serbia ("we", "us", "our"). You can reach us at contact@uw.wtf. Throughout these terms, "the Service" means the UltraWideo browser extension, the website at uw.wtf, the dashboard, and any APIs we provide.

2. Agreement

By installing the extension, signing in to the dashboard, or purchasing a Pro plan, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are below the age of majority in your country, you may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. The Service is not intended for children under 13.

4. What the Service Does

UltraWideo is a browser extension that adjusts the aspect ratio of online video so it fills more of your screen. The Service has a free tier and a paid Pro tier with additional features (such as Cloud Sync, advanced controls, and per-site preferences). The dashboard at uw.wtf manages your account, your Pro license, and the devices ("instances") on which Pro is activated.

5. Accounts

You sign in to the dashboard with a third-party OAuth provider (currently GitHub or Google). You're responsible for keeping access to that provider account secure. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate anyone else.

You may delete your account at any time from your account page. If you have an active paid subscription, you'll need to cancel it from your billing portal before deleting the account.

6. Pro License

A Pro purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pro features on the number of devices specified by your plan. Licenses are tied to your account. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute your license, share your license key with others, or use it on more devices than your plan allows.

Pro is sold as a recurring subscription. Your access to Pro features remains active for as long as your subscription is in good standing.

7. Pricing, Payment, and Taxes

Pro purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who acts as our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment, billing, invoicing, applicable VAT/sales tax, and currency conversion. Their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy apply to the transaction itself, in addition to ours.

Prices may change. Existing recurring subscriptions are billed at the price that was in effect when you subscribed, until we notify you of a change with reasonable advance notice.

8. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. In short: there's a fully featured free tier, all sales are final, and any refund rights you have under applicable law (such as the EU Consumer Rights Directive) are honored through Lemon Squeezy.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the extension or licensing system, except to the extent applicable law expressly permits.
  • Circumvent license activation limits, validation checks, or any technical protection.
  • Use the Service to violate the law, infringe someone else's rights, or harm others.
  • Interfere with, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Use automated means to scrape, overload, or abuse our APIs beyond the extension's own normal use.

10. Your Content and Feedback

The Service does not host content you upload. If you send us suggestions or feedback (via the dashboard, email, or anywhere else), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual right to use it to improve the Service. You don't have to send feedback, and nothing in this clause requires us to act on it.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on third parties – your browser, your OAuth provider (GitHub or Google), Lemon Squeezy (payments), Neon (database hosting in AWS Frankfurt), Cloudflare (delivery), Resend (transactional email), and PostHog (product analytics and error monitoring, EU-hosted). We're not responsible for those services' availability or actions, but we choose them carefully.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account page.

We may suspend or terminate your access – and revoke your license – if you materially breach these terms, abuse the licensing system, or use the Service in a way that puts us, our infrastructure, or other users at risk. Where reasonable, we'll let you know first and give you a chance to fix the issue.

If your account is terminated for breach, refunds for unused subscription time will not be issued, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Video manipulation results depend on the source content, the streaming platform, and your browser environment, and we can't guarantee compatibility with every site. We don't promise the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every conceivable threat.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, UltraWideo and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

If we are ever found liable to you for something related to the Service, the most you can recover from us, in total, is whichever of these is higher: (a) what you actually paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the issue happened, or (b) €50. In other words: a cap on damages, set to a sensible amount for a low-cost extension.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (such as liability for fraud, gross negligence, or, where applicable, mandatory consumer-protection statutes).

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "last revised" date at the top of this page. For changes that materially affect your rights, we'll do our best to notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

16. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Belgrade, Serbia.

If you're a consumer resident in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction whose mandatory consumer-protection laws apply to you, nothing in this clause deprives you of the protection of those mandatory rules, and you may also bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence where local law requires.
