Enhance Quality
Adaptive sharpening that gives soft footage more detail and already-crisp footage less – pulling every source into focus without halos or noise. A Pro feature.
Enhance Quality (Pro) is adaptive sharpening. It reads how soft or crisp the source already is and applies more detail where it's needed and less where it isn't — so the picture looks clearer without the crunchy, over-sharpened look.
What it does
Toggle it on and the picture looks subtly crisper. The key word is adaptive: a soft, low-bitrate upload gets a real lift, while footage that's already sharp is barely touched, avoiding halos and amplified noise. Toggle it off and you're back to the original.
When to use it
It shines on old or low-bitrate video that looks mushy — especially after you've zoomed in with Upscale, which can make softness more obvious. On a clean, high-quality stream the difference is intentionally subtle.
Good to know
Enhance works alongside every mode and the Scale controls — it sharpens whatever is finally on screen. Combine it with Ambient Light for the full cinematic treatment.
