Shortcuts & Gestures

Control everything without opening the panel – keyboard shortcuts you can remap, plus built-in mouse and trackpad gestures.

Once your setup feels right, you'll rarely open the panel. Keyboard shortcuts and gestures let you drive UltraWideo without breaking from the video.

Keyboard shortcuts

Defaults, editable in your browser's extension settings:

ActionWindows / LinuxmacOS
Toggle activityAlt+Shift+XMacCtrl+Cmd+X
Cycle modeAlt+Shift+ZMacCtrl+Cmd+Z
Show / hide panelAlt+Shift+AMacCtrl+Cmd+A
Voice input (Pro)Alt+Shift+VMacCtrl+Cmd+V

You can remap any of these from the extension's Shortcuts tab, or directly in your browser's keyboard-shortcut settings.

Gestures

Gestures are built in and trigger only while you're hovering over a video:

GestureAction
Ctrl + scroll over videoCycle mode
Ctrl + Alt + scrollAdjust scale
Two-finger pinch (trackpad)Cycle mode
Alt + drag on videoPan the video

Good to know

Gestures can't be reassigned — they're fixed so they never clash with a site's own controls, and they stay dormant unless your pointer is over a video. Keyboard shortcuts are fully yours to change. Voice input is a Pro feature; the other shortcuts are free.
