Voice Control

Speak the setting and UltraWideo applies it – hands-free adjusting from across the room. AI-powered, and a Pro feature.

Voice Control (Pro) lets you change settings just by saying them out loud — no menu hunting, no reaching for the keyboard. It's built for the couch: speak the adjustment and it happens.

How to use it

Trigger voice input (default Alt+Shift+V, or MacCtrl+Cmd+V on macOS) and say what you want in plain language:

  • "Make it bigger"
  • "Switch to upscale"
  • "Crop the black bars"

UltraWideo interprets the command and applies the matching setting.

Microphone permission

The first time you use voice on a website, the browser asks for microphone permission. This is per-site, so you'll see the prompt again on a new domain — granting it once per site is expected, not a glitch.

Good to know

Voice maps onto the same controls you'd otherwise reach for by hand — modes, scale, and letterbox cropping — so anything you can set in the panel, you can ask for out loud.
