Preferences

Everything in the Preferences tab is free — no Pro license required. Changes apply to the panel immediately and stick after you close and reopen it.

Appearance

Choose the panel theme: Auto (follows your system), Light, or Dark. Switching is instant, and Auto matches your OS light/dark setting as it changes.

Accent color

All 16 interface colors are available to everyone — none are locked behind Pro. Pick one and the panel restyles immediately, and the choice sticks.

Language

Set the interface language to Auto (Browser) or pick one manually. Changing it updates every label in the panel right away.

Popup Trigger

Choose how you open UltraWideo:

• Toolbar (default) — open the panel straight from the UltraWideo icon in your browser's toolbar, or with the show/hide shortcut. Nothing sits on the page. Pin the icon and it's always one click away.
• Companion — a small draggable button stays on the page and opens the panel right where you put it. This was UltraWideo's classic behavior; it's now opt-in.

Interface Placement

In Toolbar mode, pick which corner the panel opens from: top-left, top-right (the default), bottom-left, or bottom-right.

Auto-hide trigger

Applies only in Companion mode. With it on, the draggable trigger fades out while the video plays and returns the moment you pause or move your mouse over the video — keeping it out of your way.

Notifications

Controls two optional prompts:

• Show changelog on update — a heads-up when a new version ships.
• Show review prompt — the occasional nudge to leave a review.

Turn either off and that prompt stops appearing.
